At Myrtle Lofts our goal is very simple, we want to breed the best racing pigeons in the world, and everything about our program is geared toward breeding better racing pigeons. This means that in the early years we spent a great deal of money and effort acquiring some of the finest genes available in the sport for the purpose of establishing a world class gene pool from which we could work. Once this was accomplished, our efforts shifted to evolving that gene pool. As we move forward in this regard, the famous birds that are the foundations of our lines become more distant in the pedigrees. However, the value of the birds we produce should increase with each succeeding generation if we are to be considered successful in our breeding program. Not everything we sell will win or will breed a winner. However, our success as breeders has to be measured by the success of many of our customers who return year after year.

We do not mass produce to make large amounts of money, we only sell youngsters of the same breeding pairs we use to supply our own racing lofts, which holds records in several different organisations, and have won hundreds of first prizes at Club and Federation level with up to and over 5,000 birds competing. In the last ten years our results achieved in Classic and National races have been described by top fanciers and scribes as fantastic, acclaimed as among the best achieved in British pigeon racing.

At Myrtle Lofts it has taken us years of research, enthusiasm and hard work to achieve our ambition in breeding a family of pigeons that will win from 70 miles through to 550 miles and coupled with the ability of performing in all weather conditions, whether it be a hard or an easy racing day.
With this family of pigeons we have been described as one of the most
successful and consistent racing and breeding lofts in all Europe. Our bloodlines have now won to date 30 x 1st Open Nationals in the last 10 years.
Every year we aim to achieve new goals and one of these goals is to have our bloodlines become as successful in China as they have become here in the U.K. and the U.S.A. achieving performances at the highest level.
